The countdown is on! Join us this Friday for Join us on June 26 to celebrate craft and community in Berea!
We’re partnering with Berea Arts Council Kentucky Guild of Artists & Craftsmen and AMP Berea for a special event supporting artisans.
Artisan Market
The Lot (446 Chestnut St.)
3:00–6:00 PM
Meet talented regional makers, shop handmade goods, and support artists from our local creative community and from the film. Admission is FREE!
HANDMADE FUTURE Screening + Q&A
Berea Arts Council (444 Chestnut St.)
6:00–9:00 PM
Join filmmakers Kirsten Dickerson Brandon Dickerson and local filmmaker Documentary Filmmaker & Photographer for a screening of HANDMADE FUTURE followed by a live Q&A. This donation-based event offers a rare behind-the-scenes look at the people, traditions, and communities that inspired the film.
We’re especially honored that Sunhouse Craft is the only U.S. maker featured in the documentary, representing Berea’s rich craft tradition alongside artisans from around the world.
HANDMADE FUTURE follows makers who are preserving heritage, promoting responsible trade, and challenging the culture of fast, cheap production through beauty, skill, and human connection.
All donations support the Artisan Fund, helping artisans pursue opportunities and thrive in the craft sector.
Come celebrate handmade work, meaningful stories, and the creative spirit of our community. We can’t wait to see you there!
