DoG Street Music Shop is the instrument sales and rental arm of DoG Street Music, a community-centered music organization in Williamsburg, VA. Born out of the belief that everyone should have access to real instruments, real music, and real community, our shop exists to support musicians at every stage — from first-time beginners to dedicated hobbyists and young performers. We specialize in student-friendly brass and wind instruments, easy and flexible rental options, and personal guidance from real educators and performers. The JP trumpet and trombone we’re back out and on the stand for a gig this past weekend. I really do like playing these horns. This is a student model trumpet and trombone that costs less than half what some other student mode trumpets and trombones cost but I cannot tell a difference! Took the new John Packer trumpet and trombone out on a recent gig and… they fit the set perfectly.

Easy response, solid intonation, and that kind of feel that lets you focus on the music instead of the gear. These horns held their own all night.
