Just finished this one for my good friend Bobby over at Bobby's deer butcher shop

A custom stainless steel whitetail scene hunting knife paired with a beautiful engraved olive wood handle. I really like how the natural grain of the olive wood works with the engraving and gives this knife a one-of-a-kind look.

🇺🇸 Honoring a Vietnam War Veteran & United States Marine 🇺🇸

It was an absolute honor to create this custom piece for a Marine who served during the Vietnam War with 1st Battalion, 9th Marines — “The Walking Dead.”

This USMC Sergeant’s service included three Purple Hearts, a Silver Star, and a Bronze Star — an incredible record of courage, sacrifice, and service to our country.

For this piece, I created a custom engraved slate plaque honoring his Marine Corps service and paired it with a beautiful olive wood-handled knife, engraved with the 1/9 Marines “The Walking Dead” design.

Projects like this mean a little more to me. As a veteran-owned small business, it’s a privilege to create something that helps preserve and honor the service of our fellow veterans.

To this Marine — thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and for carrying on the proud legacy of the Corps.

Welcome to 3D Layer Foundry!

We’re a veteran-owned small business creating custom pieces through 3D printing, laser engraving and personalized design.

From military and retirement plaques to custom gifts, tumblers, business branding, hats, 3D printed creations and plenty of things that are just plain fun — I love taking an idea and turning it into something you can actually hold.

A lot has been happening behind the scenes, and I’m excited to finally start sharing more of what comes out of the shop.
