The moment you meet an author in real life, who’s work you fell in love with the moment you closed the back cover and has had a lasting impact on you…it’s a feeling that cannot be described. And to be in a room with so many people who feel the same way and are part of the same community, is truly incredible.

And to meet Sheila Masterson one day before her birthday and one day after her trad release, no less, (after being fans of The Poison Daughter since the moment it released as an indie) is an indescribable feeling!

Rhiannon Hargadon | Dark Romantasy Author led such a fun, interactive conversation and the 100 readers in attendance were so cool and so enthusiastic to be there to celebrate.

We had a blast hosting Sheila for her official book tour and we definitely couldn’t contain ourselves when it came to the goodies included with this event. I mean how could we not make custom book tour event ribbons as souvenirs?! 🥹☺️

So we are so freaking happy to be able to experience this as a romantasy reader community with two amazing authors!!!

When one single story makes you feel every human emotion, you know it’s one that will stick with you.💜Especially when you’re a feral reader in a world full of series and this this is a standalone!

The Poison Daughter by Sheila Masterson celebrated its traditionally published release with Slowburn and we have the honor of hosting Sheila for a signing event just one day after.

Harlow and Henry’s story together is swoon-worthy, filled with banter, understanding, love, heartbreak, and passion. Harlow’s is one of trauma, vengeance, power, pain, and depth that is as gut wrenching as it is beautiful.

This standalone dark romantasy has the MOST savable quotes I think I’ve ever found and our book club absolutely devoured it when it was indie published. And we are so excited to get our hands on this insanely gorgeous deluxe hardcover edition!
