The first dahlia! Finally!
This is going to be an honest post...
Farming is hard and yes some people like to say I'm not a "real" farmer because I just grow flowers but it is. I put in so much time, money, sweat, and literal tears into my business. I started this business so I could earn some money while still staying home and homeschooling my kids. I do work outside the home 2 other jobs but the flower farm is a big help in the growing season. But as with any farming venture you can't control the weather and that's what this year has come down to. Things just aren't growing like they should and it's very disappointing and hard. But I'm taking the small wins like with this first and maybe only dahlia and in the spring I'll be back stronger!
