After yesterday’s *Plants for Teachers: Website vs. Alicia* showdown… I WON. 😎

🌿 PLANTS FOR TEACHERS ARE OFFICIALLY LIVE! 🌿

Send your favorite Wylie ISD teacher or staff member a full-size 4” plant in a cute chalkboard pot with ribbon + a name tag! You choose the campus and recipient, tell us who it’s from, and we’ll deliver it to the school. 💚

Plants will be chosen from an assortment of beautiful, easy-care varieties, and care instructions are included.

This was supposed to be the Plants for Teachers LAUNCH POST. 🪴🚌🍎👩‍🏫

Unfortunately, after spending approximately 700 hours trying to make the website understand campuses + teacher names, this is now a ✨PREVIEW✨. 🥹

The plants are ready. The website is not. I am no longer emotionally available to troubleshoot.

Hopefully launching tomorrow morning after we’ve both had some time to think about our behavior. The goal is for you to be able to send a Wylie teacher or staff member a plant to celebrate the new school year.

ANYWAY. LOOK HOW CUTE THEY ARE. 😭🪴

What is it about hanging plants that’s just... better? 🌿

Maybe it’s the jungle vibes. Maybe it’s because they don’t take up shelf space. Maybe it’s because they make every room look like someone has their life together.

Whatever the reason, we’re big fans.

Fresh plant deliveries this week are giving ✨healthy, lush, colorful, thriving✨ energy.

No crazy rare unicorns this time... just a whole shop full of really, REALLY pretty plants that are ready to come home with someone.

Also, please enjoy the last photo of a fairy plant stick whose face got slightly smooshed in transit. I don’t know her story, but I respect her resilience. She’s doing her best, and honestly? Same.

If you’ve ever wanted to witness 80 adults collectively lose their minds over a houseplant, this is your sign.

July Plant Bingo was our biggest one yet, and Herman Marshall was such a fabulous host that we’re doing it all over again in August!

More plants. More prizes. More dramatic reactions to hearing “O-69.”
