✨ WE ARE OFFICIALLY FIRE CODE COMPLIANT. ✨

Not entirely sure how we pulled that off. There are unconfirmed reports that Figgy may have bribed the fire marshal, but our attorneys have advised us not to comment.

We like our plants alive, our decor dead, and our October slightly unhinged.

At this point, we’re not even decorating for Halloween. We’re just finally letting the shop be itself. 🎃💅🏼

Fresh plants are in, just in time for Downtown Wylie Oktoberfest tomorrow! Shops all over downtown will have drinks, snacks & activities.

At Fancy Plants, decorate a little fall-themed pot for FREE, then add a mini plant for just $5 if you want!

Meet our THREE newest foster kittens: Dove, Stormy & Berlioz! They’ll be hanging out with us this weekend for cuddles, oohs, ahhs, and—most importantly—adoption.

Apparently, Texas heard us complaining about the heat and said FINE, HAVE ALL THE RAIN AT ONCE.

EVERYBODY LOOK AT THE KITTEN. QUICK! 😂

After Dewey had the audacity to get adopted before we could even properly introduce him, we would like to formally introduce foster kitten #2: CLEO. 🖤

Cleo is a beautiful 4-month-old gray/brown tabby who has found herself at the shelter for the second time. Her first family just wasn’t her *perfect* match—which can only mean her actual human soulmate is still out there somewhere.

She’s already spayed, has all her shots, and is a timid angel baby who needs a little time to decide you’re safe. But once she warms up? Absolute sweetheart. 🥹

For now, she’ll be hanging out at Fancy Plants getting lots of love, learning that people are pretty great, and eventually, apprenticing under Figgy.

Please admire her photos immediately. We worked VERY hard to get her on the internet before someone adopts her. 😂

We’re talking adorable little ghosts, grinning jack-o’-lanterns, and spooky skulls, all with a houseplant twist. Each design is custom laser-cut wood, with a gorgeous backing and frame already stained by Lauren. You’ll paint your piece, assemble it like a puzzle, and leave with the CUTEST handmade Halloween decoration.

WELL, THAT WAS FAST. 😂🐈

Yesterday, we welcomed our very first foster shop cat, Dewey, from the City of Wylie Animal Services. We were SO excited to introduce him to everyone… but apparently Dewey had other plans.

Before we could even make his debut on social media, HE GOT ADOPTED!

Everyone, meet Dewey and his new human, Mila! ❤️

Our first foster, our first adoption, and proof that sometimes all it takes is a little time in a plant shop to find the perfect addition to your family.

Congratulations, Dewey and Mila! We couldn’t have asked for a happier ending to our very first foster story. 🪴💕
