Another great Masterclass Electronics trip on Sam Rayburn wrapped up! 🎣

I really enjoy these days because it’s not about taking someone fishing..it’s about helping them better understand what their electronics are telling them and how to apply that information on the water.

We spent the day working through Side Imaging, Down Imaging, Forward-Facing Sonar, mapping and topographical features, along with one of the biggest pieces I teach..seasonal patterns and understanding where fish should be based on the time of year.

We also worked on putting all of those tools together to locate productive areas, eliminate dead water, and make better decisions instead of simply chasing waypoints.

Every Masterclass is tailored to the individual and what they want to improve. It was hot no doubt but definitely a great time! As always God bless you and God bless The United States of America 🇺🇸!

What makes Hilandero Blades spinnerbaits chip proof? Nothing. No matter who we buy our blades from they are all prone to chipping. Our painting & clear coating methods just makes the baits harder for the paint to chip.
The other question was regarding trailer hooks. Does Hilandero Blades spinnerbaits need a trailer hook? The hook that we use on our baits is a long shank hook. It also has a wider gap and a cutting edge point instead of a needle point hook which, in turn, results in better hook sets.

Hey everybody, Michael, from Hilandero Blades.
I was asked recently how do I prevent the paint chipping off of my heads. Well, no matter what we do the paint will chip. What I do helps with the color schemes be a little more vibrant. Lead is porous so I use a sealer as my base coat.
The other question I was asked: do I have issues with trailer hooks on my blades. I don’t use trailer hooks. Other blades use a needle point hook. I use a long shank hook with a cutting edge point.
