Saying goodbye to a legend today. 🐈⬛
We are heartbroken to share that our beloved greenhouse cat, Sassy, passed away at the incredible age of 23. She drifted off peacefully right where she loved to be most cozy in her favorite bed in the greenhouse.
If you’ve visited us over the years, you almost certainly met Sassy. Whether she was showing off her extra thumb-toes, keeping watch over the plants, or giving us heart attacks by choosing to nap under customer cars, she ran this place entirely on her own terms.
23 years of purrs, extra toes, and endless warmth. Thank you to everyone who ever gave her a chin scratch or checked under their tires before driving off. She loved this community, and the greenhouse won’t feel the same without her.
