Oil Pastel Sgraffito Workshop

Saturday, 1 August
11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Ma Xó 2nd Floor

15 min - I’ll introduce the sgraffito technique and show the different textures and effects you can create with oil pastels

10 min - Everyone will choose a palette of contrasting colours and prepare the surface for their artwork

5 min - You’ll then choose one of 10 minimalist reference images featuring insects or animals

60 min - Using the reference as a starting point, we’ll transfer the image onto the prepared surface and develop it with your own patterns, textures, and creative ideas. Even if two participants choose the same reference, every artwork will be completely unique.

All materials are provided.
Only 6 spots are available, so please book in advance
