Summer Spectrum was a beautiful reminder of the individuality of pigments distinct to any other, just like the makers gathered around our table, itโ€™s liberating from any expectation and always calling to turn to our own person.

With students of the French and Vietnamese schools in Saigon each had a well-spent day, immersed in nature and experiencing art in its element.

We received this thoughtful invitation from the association Culture et Espace Francophones CEF and River Glampstay, who brought this event together to address ecological drivers. Believing and cultivating sustainable thinking among young schoolers, giving permission to expand their knowledge by experiment and brush up their French along the way.

And so we excitedly said yes because this oneโ€™s for their future ๐ŸŒฑ

We prepared a micro-session introducing eco-printing on paper, where students chose their own leaves and flowers, along with making watercolour pigments from dried herbs. To guide and stand among these budding creatives was โœจaโœจmomentโœจofโœจtruthโœจ no two colours, no two prints ever the same.

While our goal was simply to spark that lightbulb ๐Ÿ’ก and light up a sense of affinity towards Earthโ€™s legacy, their reactions said Woah!, a sincere smile, a little happy dance here and there, it was a win for everyone.

Thanks to CEF team and the senior students from University of Social Sciences in Ho Chi Minh City [USSH] for supporting us from start to finish.
As for the hidden ecological escape curated by River Glampstay, itโ€™s a little sanctuary worth exploring in District 9 ๐ŸŒด๐Ÿ•๏ธ
