I had a great time beading this today!
This afternoon, I gather a few fellow art folk on a Discord call and we all worked on our projects. We had a wire-wrapped wonders, perler bead mayhem, jewelry repair blues, and a talkative raven. It’s the mood of creation.

Just started on a new commission! It’s great to take a break and work with big beads again.

With five brothers down, now I have seven to go! Snow, Water, Sky, Lightning, and Fire are accounted for. It took some time to complete the newest member of the bunch. The icicle tassels required almost as much time I took to make the main body and nearly the same bead count. He took all nine months to complete with how life played out. He slowed my work down to keep in time with it, and I think it is prime time I move on to capture the essence of the next brother! Look forward to it.

I can use a reminder of winter’s comfort right now after finishing the fringe on this tapestry. The last hurdle is the artist statement.

A little bit of restoration finished! I had been asked to gradated the ruby in zoisite for this sterling silver ruby in fuchsite and amethyst pendant.

Daanzho! I had a fantastic time leading the beading circle at this past Sunday! Everyone brought warm smiles and beaded in good spirit. I am looking forward to the potential for future programming. Thank you for hosting an absolutely darling crafting space last night at South FIRST FRIDAY at walk in Downtown San Jose. Friends and family sat together and made precious treasures. It is always good to bead in spirit.

A reflection on the connections with the hearts around us is what fosters our growth as persons in community. Unbreakable Bonds Between Us at the is a reminder of that experience. Her work Interconnected illuminates the moments of those bonds made. Art takes time, and pieces embody the events in a life while spent making it. The captivation here between the sojourning artist and the illuminated nymph is one cultivated through the life honored while painting this piece.
