I found some large poppies which I bought a while ago from Tabitha glass emporium and decided to try them in a coaster. Also loving the new copper mica which arrived this week for anyone who knows me they will know I’m drawn to glitter and sparkle and I think it looks fab in this design.

Mixed results not entirely happy with the outcome and further work still required if I want to work with leaves going forward but it’s been interesting to see the results so far. It’s difficult to capture the leaves veins in the photo but they are there.

After having a break from doing any glass work for a few months today I’ve been experimenting with fusing fallen leaves 🍁 using frit and powder. It will be interesting to see how they turn out later once the kiln schedule has finished.

I’ve been on leave for 3 weeks, In this time off I’ve done quite a bit of glass making and I’ve updated my photos on Etsy but tomorrow I’m back in work so this will be the last bit of work which I will be sharing for a while x
