Don’t be afraid to reach out. Sometimes asking for help is the first step toward getting back on your feet.

If you are in need, send us a message. We will do our best to connect you with resources, donations, and support available in our community.

Loops Community Closet is looking for volunteers, community partners, and donors who would like to help provide hot meals and essential items for our local homeless community at least once a month.

We are also accepting donations of:
• Clothing for all ages
• Shoes
• Hygiene products
• Baby items
• Household essentials
• Non-perishable food

To donate, volunteer, help with local pickups, or become part of the Loops Community Closet mission, please send us a message.

📢 DONATION PICKUP THIS WEEK! 📢

Loops Community Closet will be picking up local donations on Wednesday and Thursday this week. If you have items you’d like to donate, please send us a message to schedule a pickup.

🚫 Please note: We are NOT accepting mattresses or box springs unless they are in excellent donation condition:
✔️ Less than 2 years old
✔️ No stains, tears, odors, or damage

Unfortunately, older or damaged mattresses tend to sit in storage and take up valuable space that could be used for other community donations.

☀️ We are currently in need of:
• Summer clothing for all ages
• Swimsuits and beach towels
• Outdoor toys
• Bikes, scooters, and helmets
• Arts and crafts supplies
• Sports equipment
• Summer activity items for children

Today I want to thank every single donor who chooses to give instead of throw away.

I recently picked up a donation where the donor told me, “I was just going to throw this away… I’ve had it my whole marriage.” After seeing our flyer, they realized it could still have value.

Many people think their items are no longer useful—but in reality, they can completely change someone else’s life.

I shared with them the reality of what we see every day: single parents working full time, often making under $30,000 a year, struggling just to cover rent, food, and bills. For many in our community, “luxury” isn’t anything extravagant—it’s a clean couch, a mattress without holes, decent clothes, or shoes that actually fit.

Some families are living paycheck to paycheck where even small things like toys or extra clothes for their kids just aren’t possible.

Your donations are not waste—they are hope, dignity, and relief for someone trying their best to get by in today’s economy.
