I absolutely LOVE the new Fighter Beanie pattern by Mattie Wadsworth and had an idea to create a pumpkin with the signature "fighter" stitch, so I reached out to Mattie to ask permission. I think it makes a beautiful pumpkin.
Mattie is so creative with her stitches and stitch combos. The larger pumpkin is made with Herrschners Holiday Sparkle yarn which is a worsted weight. I used 2 strands held together. The smaller one is made with Lion Brand Forever Fleece

TODAY'S THE DAY! The unveiling of The Alley/Attic The Lazy Daisy Gift Store Yorktown. I just left the store and all I can say is...WOW!! What an amazing addition to what is already a fantastic store. Christmas everyday...yes please🙋‍♀️. That's what you'll find in the Attic...and the Alley is the epitome of Vintage Shabby Chic! Trust me...you will not be disappointed!

Just finished the rest of these adorable covered glass yogurt jar mini fall arrangements and I absolutely LOVE them. This Chunky Pot Cover Pattern by Erin || Free Crochet Patterns is so versatile and works for any season, any combo of colors, and practically any size pot! It's definitely one of my go-to patterns and great for stash busting

I decided to cover glass yogurt jars with them and insert floral foam, made these cute arrangements and then used hot glue to add Spanish moss. I think they are adorable! I have 5 more to finish

I don't know why it hit me SO hard when I opened the package from Nella’s Cottage Fibers // Jen Mitchell and saw the "fighter" yarn and custom patch from Mattie Wadsworth but I couldn't stop the tears and felt the need to share the story of "P" . She was the most beautiful soul, the kindest human and endured more than her share, especially while battling breast cancer. She lit a fire in me that will never dim

I reached out to Dannis Designs Crafts several months ago because I had an idea to do a "build your own beanie" at a vendor event I have in the fall and I wanted her opinion for poms that would go with the most colors. She suggested Highland, Mojave, and Perfect pom colors. I received them today and they ARE "perfect". Thank you Danni, not only for the suggestions, but for the absolutely stunning poms
