It’s been a busy month and I realized I haven’t been posting much. 😬🫣

So here is a project I did about a month ago for the Soldier Recovery Unit on Schofield Barracks. The Army has an annual Warrior Games, which is similar to the Paralympic Games and I was asked to make these for the athletes participating as a token to commemorate the 2024 Pacific Trials.

To say that I am humbled and honored to be able to provide something for such an amazing cause would be a HUGE understatement.

The unit provided the design and these were made with a mirrored gold acrylic in the center and mahogany on the border and back piece.

The unit commander also gave me his coins when I delivered the turtles. 🩷 I never really expected to get anymore challenge coins after retiring from the military, so that was a very unexpected gift!
