Locate Shallow Metal Objects with the SRIS Search Coil
The SRIS Search Coil can be used to locate metallic objects close to the surface. This coil can be activated manually by the operator while setting up the operating modes Live Sound and 3D Ground Scan.
Even though it seems easy to detect the position of a buried object with the 3D ground scanner and metal detector OKM Fusion, it can become harder to localize the exact spot as soon as you start digging. In order to solve this problem you may activate the SRIS search coil and check the excavated soil with it. Visualize Underground Treasures in 3D

3D Ground Scan
OKM is renowned for its 3D imaging detection technology developed and engineered in Germany. 3D Ground Scan is the most performative operating mode to locate target objects as deep as 60 ft (18 m) in the underground.
After saving the measurement, treasure hunters can analyze the scan image in detail, and determine the position, size and depth of the detected targets before excavation.
Detect Secret Passages and Tunnels with Thermography
Using the Thermo Probe (T) unlocks 2 more operating modes that allow both horizontal and vertical measurements: Thermo Scan and Thermo Stream.
Thermo Scan
With Thermo Scan, larger surfaces can be scanned for temperature differences. Just like in the established 3D Ground Scan operating mode, the surface is measured with the detector following a specific scheme.
Thanks to the extremely short probe, the OKM Delta Ranger is ideal for horizontal wall surface measurement. Thus, temperature differences on walls can be made visible and provide clues to hidden rooms and corridors behind them.
In addition, the detector with can also be used vertically (like in 3D Ground Scan), to detect underground cavities, chambers and tunnels.
Thermo Stream
The Thermo Stream operating mode uses the live camera image as background and a socalled false color scheme for the simplified visualization of temperature differences. If both are correctly tuned using the crosshair calibration prior to the measurement, it is possible to precisely determine the surface temperature of objects and surfaces at specific points.
The surface temperature of the targeted object is indicated
as simplified color point cloud on the camera image,
by a pointer on the temperature scale,
as value in °Celsius or °Fahrenheit.
Void and Cave Detection Inspired by Science
Thermography usually uses color associations for products in everyday use, such as those familiar from a thermostat or tap: blue is associated with cold, while red is perceived as warm.
In science, so-called false color schemes (or pseudo color schemes) are preferred. The false color representation uses colors that deviate from the natural color impression in order to make fine nuances of a tone more easily distinguishable.

Are you looking for underground water resources or hidden cavities up to depths of 250 meters (820 ft)? The GeoSeeker is a professional geoelectrical water detector and cavity detector that measures the ground resistivity and visualizes its scan data in incredible 3D graphics. It is a very mobile and easy to operate geoelectrical detector designed and manufactured in Germany.
GeoSeeker Scan Modes
GeoSeeker hardware components are completely controlled by a modern Android Tablet PC. All commands and measurement results are transferred wireless via Wi-Fi. Using the pre-installed software application, you simply select one of three supported scan modes:
Active Scan (Accurate)
While using this scan mode the GeoSeeker utilizes two electrodes to inject electrical power into the underground soil. Two additional electrodes are measuring the potential difference (fall of voltage) at specific scan points to calculate the final resistivity value. This mode is used to detect underground water deposits, hidden caves or even impervious layers and barriers within the underground soil. In active scans you will be able to define a specific depth range in that you are going to conduct your measurement. So, you will define a starting and ending depth between 5 meters (16 feet) and 250 meters (820 feet).
Active Scan (Quick)
This scan mode is a quick version of the accurate scan. It is also injecting electrical current into the underground and measuring the potential difference (fall of voltage) to calculate the resistivity of the ground.
Passive Scan
While using this scan mode the GeoSeeker only utilizes two electrodes to read the natural occurring voltage of the underground (no electrical power is injected into the underground). This mode is used to detect underground flowing water only.
GeoSeeker Software
The GeoSeeker’s software application is providing simple step-by-step instructions to assist you in completing the measurement. You simply follow these pictured instructions until your measurement has been finished. After completing the measurement, a graphical 3d representation of the measure values is created and displayed on the screen of your Tablet PC. Some color adjustment options are provided to optimize the graphical 3d visualization of your underground water deposits, water-bearing gravel and groundwater level (shown in bluish colors) as well as cavities, caves, tunnels, chambers or impervious layers (shown in reddish colors).

The GeoSeeker hardware is integrated in a waterproof and shock-resistance Peli case. Thus, your geoelectrical equipment is well packed and always ready for transportation.
