If you're considering a chunky knit blanket, keep in mind that like the other sari items, the shades vary, and boy are they GORGEOUS!!! Past customers will tell you that our chunky knit blankets are one of their favorite products! The reason for that is the unique look, feel and back story!!
The blankets were created out of a need to give jobs to women who were finding it difficult to become expert seamstresses-so they came up with the prep job for the blankets-ripping the 2 in strips and tying them together in readiness for the weaver to do her thing on the long wooden loom and transform the huge ball of material into a beloved blanket! I would describe this blanket by saying it's weight feels like a warm hug, and the cotton sari strips make it soft and the loose weave makes it very sensory satisfying!!
