COME SEE US AND GET YOUR SOOOOAP! We might have 1-3 more vends for the year, and then soap&self products will be for sale only if you contact us directly :-) After two years of pre-reqs, we will FINALLY start nursing school (yes, both J and I!) at the start of 2026, and that will be a wrap for soap&self! Of course, I will NEVER stop making soap because, well, we use soap! LOL! You can always contact me directly on Insta to come grab what you need, or I can bring it to ya for larger orders :-) I can also still ship! We’re both looking forward to finishing up our BSNs, and serving our community with love, compassion, and knowledge. Hope to you see you this Saturday!!!

TOMORROW!!! We will have lots o’ soap, including new scents—->>> Lavender & Cedarwood AND Mountains, which is a blend of camphor, eucalyptus, clary sage, lemon, citronella, patchouli, and fir needle essential oils. I will also have my popular French lavender—-already 12 bars reserved, so come earrrrly if you want a bar! 🧼🪻I will also have lip balm, lip scrub, lip serum, beeswax candles, shampoo and conditioner bars, and some bath goodies! 🛁🫧🧼

In other news, you might have noticed I haven’t posted in forevaaa. I am currently attending school to finish pre-requisites to apply for nursing school, and that has kept me extremely busy. I have 3 classes left after this semester! I’m so excited! Once I start nursing school (sometime next year!), soap&self will be soap, lip products, shampoo and conditioner bars, and occasionally other little bath goodies. I will make beeswax candles upon request. I don’t EVER intend to stop making soap. I can’t even imagine it!!! I LOVE making soap!! If you ever want to find out if I have a particular soap in stock, please ask! I’m happy to meet all of your soap needs. 🧼🧼

Helllllooo friends! I hope everyone is doing well! I have been insanely busy. Seriously. I’ll tell you more about that later, but I wanted to let you know that we will be at City Farmer’s tomorrow at the Fall Festival! I’ll have tons of soap, including new Ocean Beach, Cactus & Agave, and new Eucalyptus & Tea Tree Oil 😍👃 I’ll also have cactus & agave and ocean beach bubble bath scoops, beeswax candles (I made lots of your favorite, Autumn Pear), lip balm, lip serum, lip scrub, whipped body butter with hyaluronic acid, and shower steamers. Check out these super cool shower steamer cubes I made! Some have menthol crystals, and yes, they will clear your sinuses! I made shower steamers (that weren’t quite as adorable) with menthol crystals several months back to test them, and they are great! My daughter especially appreciated them when she was sick. 🤧

These will be with me this Saturday at the Summer Market hosted by from 3-7 PM! Can’t wait!!! 🧼 🚿

Scents are:

Rosemary essential oil

Eucalyptus + menthol

French lavender, Roman Chamomile, and Ylang Ylang (great before bed!)

Essential oil blend of Ravintaara, Eucalyptus Radiata, Lemon, Peppermint, and Wintergreen + menthol crystals

Citrus Spring and Cactus Agave shampoo bars! Citrus Spring is lemongrass, bergamot, and sweet orange essential oils. Cactus & Agave is a certified all natural fruity scent with touches of vanilla, sweet basil, and cactus). We’ve been using these shampoo (and conditioner) bars for over a year now, and I can honestly say that my hair has never been so easy to comb through. It’s so silky and healthy! AND nooooo plastic! I don’t know about you, but this heat is rough. Let’s not add to issues causing climate change, ok? 😜 These, along with their conditioner counterparts, will be at the Summer Market this Saturday from 3-7 PM. I will have 2 sets for each scent: French lavender, Citrus Spring, Eucalyptus & Spearmint, Wildflowers, Ocean Beach, Tea Tree Oil, and Cactus and Agave (kid’s fav!). After this weekend, these will be added to the site, along with new soaps.

Should I make shower steamers tomorrow or bath bombs/bath dust??? 🧼🛁 Let me know in the comments what you want to see at the market this weekend! 😊

LOVE how this turned out! I made a new soap, and I like its abstract design, but it definitely needed more pizazz.

I outlined the butterfly shape using a teeny tiny cookie cutter (meant for making food fun for kids :-) ), and then filled the shape in with bronze eco-glitter. A few drops of rubbing alcohol helped to set the glitter, and keep it adhered to the soap. The glitter will likely wash off in 1-2 uses, but you’ll still see an outline of the shape for much of the life of the soap. I love the “hello beautiful..” stamp, too, of course!

Can’t wait to work on more. It’s so relaxing working on making bars of soap prettier 😊😋 Any shapes you want to see? My next one is going to be a starfish! ⭐️🐠😆

FRESHLY CUT! This is ONE of the new soaps I made with the rebatch of the eucalyptus and tea tree oil soaps! Totally digging’ it! What do you think???? 🌱🧼

I have 3, okay maybe 4, other designs that I should be able to cut this weekend. And tomorrow I’m making lip scrubs! Woohoo! Exciting stuff! See you then!
