Menina fue uno de los primeros patrones que hice cuando llegué a Barcelona, en septiembre del año pasado. Lo había empezado con un fi*****ng, demasiado fino para lo que quería como resultado. Esa época coincidió con mis primeras gafas recetadas… Casualidad? 🤓 El hilo que usé luego, para la modelo que ven en pantalla, es Have Fun de mattiyarns. Ángela adora quedarse quieta... Tanto, que a veces nadie está seguro de si estuvo allí alguna vez. Tiene la habilidad de fundirse entre otras formas similares, volviéndose indistinguible, como si hubiera decidido suspender su existencia por un momento.

Su verdadero poder es la escucha: puede percibir vibraciones en la tierra antes de que algo suceda y cuando el bosque necesita silencio, ella lo expande. Su discreción es una de las formas más grandes de su fuerza...

Here's the pattern for one of my favorite characters so far: Ángela ♥ She’s part of a larger collection, a bigger forest story, and a whole community of incredible and magical beings that I'm making with Have Fun yarns of Matti-Yarns.

Ángela loves to remain still… so still that sometimes no one is quite sure she was ever there at all. She has the ability to merge with other similar forms, becoming indistinguishable, as if she had chosen to suspend her existence for a moment.

Her true power is listening: she can sense vibrations in the earth before anything happens, and when the forest needs silence, she expands it. Her discretion is one of the greatest forms of her strength.

Yo hace rato tenía ganas de tejer un caballo, es el año del caballo, yo soy caballo y Natasha tiene unos diseños de caballos increíbles... Así que bueno, no hay más que decir. 🐎

Me gustó la idea de crear un amuleto con mis propias manos, de dedicarle tiempo, empeño y hacerlo como a mí me gusta, con todos los detalles y combinaciones, como un ritual en sí. Y me gusta pensar que este tipo de momentos y resultados tienen algo de magia... 💫

¿Ustedes empezaron el año con algún gesto simbólico? ¿Harían un amuleto así?

I’ve been wanting to crochet a horse for a while now, it’s the Year of the Horse, I’m a Horse myself, and Natasha has the most incredible horse designs… so, well, there’s really nothing more to say 🐎

I loved the idea of creating an amulet with my own hands — dedicating time and intention to it, making it the way I like, with all the details and combinations. Almost like a ritual in itself. And I like to think that moments like these, and the pieces that come from them, hold a little bit of magic 💫

Este finde estuve por primera vez de visita en . Tuve el agrado de conocer a Eva de y Maite e Isabel de , artistas de lujo con quienes intercambiamos opiniones sobre mi proyecto builder de patrones de amigurumi; a Angel de con quien charlamos de creatividad y experimentación de hilados en amigurumis; al equipo de que me recibieron muy cordialmente y halagaron mis personajes (muchas gracias!); a Silvia de que me ayudó a armar una paleta de colores con para un nuevo personaje. Y por supuesto también jugamos con Roberto y Clara de en la búsqueda de Ángela. ¡Es un honor poder contar con personas tan generosas como ellos en mis ocurrencias! De su stand me llevé el espectacular libro de porque, claro, Lope Miope TIENE que ser parte de mi estudio 😍

No tengo más que palabras de agradecimiento. Volví a casa muy feliz. Espero que se repitan más oportunidades para compartir y generar comunidad.

This weekend I visited Love Yarn Madrid for the first time. I had the pleasure of meeting Eva from and Maite and Isabel from in person, incredibly talented artists with whom I exchanged ideas about my amigurumi pattern builder project. I also had a lovely conversation with Ángel from Tejiendo con Angel about creativity and experimenting with different yarns in amigurumi; the wonderful team at Melissa welcomed me so warmly and said such kind things about my characters (thank you so much!); and Silvia from La madriguera crochetera helped me create a Rubi color palette for a new character ♥

We also had fun with Roberto and Clara from The Sewing Box Magazine while searching for Ángela. It’s truly an honor to have such generous and inspiring people supporting my ideas. From their stand, I also brought home the amazing book by Gallimelmas because Lope Miope had to become part of my studio 😍

I have nothing but words of gratitude for such an amazing weekend. I came home feeling very happy. I hope there will be many more opportunities to share and build community together.

Hace algunas semanas empecé a usar los algodones de . Have Fun es uno de ellos y me encantó cómo lo llevan Iris, Fermín y Menina. No puedo decirles que no hay otros personajes en camino porque les estaría mintiendo. Y ENCIMA, habrá sorpresas 👀✨ Mientras tanto, pueden encontrar los patrones en la tienda (link en mi feed)

Les presento a Catalina, el primer personaje que tejí con For Nature.
Es un hilado que sorprende por su suavidad y definición, ideal para personajes con detalles y expresión 😍

El patrón ya está disponible (en castellano, por ahora) y viene con instrucciones claras, tips y una versión ilustrada para que jueguen con sus propias paletas de color.
