I have spent the last 3 months coaching this amazing team of kids. They topped the finals in Germany against countries from all over Europe. Friends & Family! I have spent the last 3 months coaching a team of amazing, hilarious, creative, hard working, brilliant 10 and 11 year olds as they prepared for the Odyssey of the Mind competition in Berlin, Germany, competing against schools from all over Europe. They worked their butts off creating a genius skit, built all the props and sets, sourced the costumes, with nothing but guidance and emotional support (lots 😆) from adults. Well, they won in a 💥 big 💥 way with exceptional scores, qualifying them for the World Finals in May.

I’m sharing a GoFundMe page that I am hoping you will take a minute to look at. Traveling from The Netherlands to Iowa, USA is pricey (!) and with the competition registration fees as well we could use your help.

Please toss in any little bit you can to make the World Finals a reality for these phenomenal kids.

Hats off to the excellent Winter Bazaar yesterday, particularly to the magic of Laurel Clucas and Janneke Philipsen and their amazing team at the ASH PTA. The atmosphere was festive, the foot traffic was incredible, they really make us proud to be a part of the American School of the Hague PTO family.

The festive environment, the live music, great food options, and a wide range of amazing local artists. You won’t regret spending your Saturday morning there.
