We recognize the community's desire to champion local businesses offering top-notch goods and services. With this in mind, we're enthusiastic about transitioning into a space that facilitates local shopping around the clock. Our next phase emphasizes the development of an online store! The shop will focus on curating local brands and unveiling fresh products that resonate with the Lodi ethos.

Meet Alvin Costa and his family—Hilda, Lance, and Logan—the fantastic team behind Costa's Finest Kettle Corn!

Alvin has always been crazy about popcorn. It all started during a fun camping trip at Pismo Beach in 2009. Picture this: everyone gathered around the fire, Alvin handing out bowls, and then... popcorn popping right over the flames! The excitement was real, but so were the flying kernels. They had everyone laughing, and a few even ended up with burn marks as souvenirs!

The following year, during their camping tradition, Alvin decided to get creative. He grabbed a huge pot, fired up a burner, and added some sugar—brown sugar, too—for a caramel twist. It wasn't half bad. That's when he started thinking, "Hey, kettle corn could be a blast!"

Fast forward to the next camping trip. Alvin's genius friend helped him fashion a kettle out of a keg's top. Its round shape made stirring a breeze. They took the kettle to a nearby campsite, where Alvin and his buddies popped flavors like apple, blueberry, and cotton candy for the kids. And guess what? The little ones went wild for it, and Alvin fell in love with making their day with his kettle corn.

Costa's Finest Kettle Corn has become a regular at countless events—farmers markets, street fairs, soccer tournaments, and more. They've even spiced up weddings, birthdays, and baby showers! Alvin and his family can't wait to be a part of even more fun in the future. They're all about sharing their mouthwatering kettle corn with everyone they meet.

So keep an eye out for them this Saturday—they will just be popping up at our Mother’s Day Market!
