Right now it’s more of an experiment than a product. “Remote” power with the capacity of a 21700 battery powering a micro light body.
Might be even more interesting if it had a converter that could end up feeding a LAM as well as your visible light. 🤷‍♂️

The AT-DP (Adaptive Tool Duty Partner) is the little brother of the AT-AT.
Compatible with the following caps: Steiner MPS, Aimpoint P2, Aimpoint Micro, FCD caps for the Aimpoint P2.

For the curious the plan to support protected and unprotected cells was in the works for a while. It wasn’t clear if the REIN was ever going to move to protected/USB rechargeable from the factory so it was shelved until recently.
The inserts always came down to cost. From the left the copper performed great but it was expensive and “heavy” compared to the aluminum version. Then we had a universal insert that could handle both types of batteries. However, it was 4 separate pieces plus springs. Cool, but a bit too much. Finally it made more sense to just add an extra insert that could handle the new taller batteries.
The new one is octagonal to differentiate between the two. Although, using the older insert with a new battery would show the incompatibility immediately.

Well, it was going to happen one day. Cloud finally moved away from unprotected cells (It’s a good move).
From now on all RSAs will come with two inserts.
The octagonal one is for the new USB rechargeable batteries. The old cylinder one is for the unprotected cells.
In the first picture the unprotected is on the left. Also picture 5 shows that this also applies to the 18350 (REIN micro).
