“Yea, thou dost light my lamp; the Lord my God lightens my darkness.” Psalm 18:28

Whenever I am left surprised or ashamed of my own sins, I always have to bring this verse to prayer. Humility is hard, but I have to remind myself that God WANTS me to call out to Him, so he can bring goodness into my heart and actions.

This is something He wants to do! Not out of anger or spite, but because He loves us. God is a Father who wants the best for us, so bring your darkness to prayer, and ask for His grace to help conquer sin.

“And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.” Col. 3:14

This sticker is meant to be a reminder that in every action we take, we should put on love. We are God’s people, and when we put on love, we become mirrors of the Divine Image, which is the holiest imitation we can, and are called to, seek.

The worst thing we can do is put God in a box. We cannot never estimate or measure the power of God.

Show up to prayer this week reminding yourself that there is nothing out of God’s reach.

Even if you ask God and do not receive, understand that there is also a reason for that. Sometimes not getting what we want (ie. relief from stress or something we have dreamed of) is what best tests our character and pushes us to lean on Christ that much more.
