☀️🌻 SUNDAY SUMMER THROWBACK 🌻☀️
There was something different about summer when we were kids…
No school. No schedules. No smartphones. No social media telling you what everyone else was doing.
Just summer. ❤️
You’d wake up, grab some breakfast, and spend the day outside until someone finally yelled your name from the porch because it was time to come home. 😂
🚲 Riding your bike around the neighborhood
🏊 Swimming until your fingers looked like raisins
🍦 Running after the ice cream truck
🎮 Playing video games with friends
📺 Watching TV when it got too hot outside
📻 Listening to music on the radio
📼 Renting a movie for the weekend
🎶 Making mixtapes and recording songs off the radio
🛍️ Wandering around the mall with your friends
🌙 Sitting outside until it started getting dark
And somehow, a $1 popsicle, a trip to the pool, and a song playing on the radio could turn into a memory you’d still remember 30 years later.
There was no need to document everything.
We were too busy living it.
