Nothing From Nothing: Art & Upcycled Gifts for the Clever Consumer! Drawing from a degree in Environmental Science and as an active exhibiting eco-artist in California, I believe everything is connected, having both an origin and destination. In other words, all materials come from, and go, somewhere. It is our responsibility to make wise consumer choices that have as little negative impact on the planet as possible. This ethic is evident in my art and homemade gifts as I adhere strictly to one fundamental principle for all I create: use recycled materials wherever possible. Therefore, all materials used, with few exceptions, were removed from the waste stream or obtained second hand. My artistic endeavors include drawings, paintings, mixed media & assemblage. I also offer found treasures as well as a variety of handmade upcycled gifts, all made with care, thought, and love.
