Last night was SO much fun!

We ended up taking around 50 transformation photos of the ladies who came out for the Practical Magic showing at the Pal Theatre, and I had just as much fun doing these as everyone did finding out which witch they were.

But I think my favorite part was just seeing everybody! There were so many familiar faces, including people I haven’t seen in YEARS. It really did turn into one big girls’ night.

And honestly, there’s something very Practical Magic about a theater full of women laughing, catching up, taking pictures together and just enjoying a night out. A little friendship, a little sisterhood and apparently a whole lot of witches running around Vidalia.

Happy Labor Day!

Today we’re celebrating the people who work hard, show up, build businesses, serve their communities, and keep things moving every single day.

As a small business owner, I know firsthand there’s a whole lot of work that happens behind the scenes—but I’m incredibly thankful that my work gets to include capturing some pretty amazing moments along the way. 🫶

Here’s to a well-earned day to relax, recharge, and enjoy the people you love.

A little look back at Sunday’s Forge Graduation! 🎓✨

Thank you to Forge Recovery Center for inviting Southern Selfies to be part of such a meaningful celebration. We loved watching everyone celebrate, laugh and create a few memories together before and after the ceremony.

💍 Wedding Wednesday Tip

Y’all, here’s your permission to disappear. 🤍

The minute you walk back down the aisle as husband and wife… don’t stop. 😂

Just keep walking.

Before the big day, pick out a little hiding spot where the two of you can sneak away for five uninterrupted minutes.

Because once your guests catch you, it’s game over. They’ll be lining up for hugs, congratulations, photos, and to ask where they’re supposed to go next. 😉

Take those five minutes to breathe, laugh, maybe shed a happy tear, and look at each other like, “We really did it.”

The party can wait.

Those first few quiet moments as newlyweds? They’re the ones you’ll never get back. 🤍✨

Some moments are over in an instant... but the memories don't have to be.

A huge thank you to Valerie and her family for choosing Southern Selfies to be part of such a beautiful Quinceañera celebration!

For Valerie's special day, they chose our classic 2×6 photo strips with on-site printing, giving every guest something tangible to take home before the night was over.

There's something special about watching people gather around, laugh until their cheeks hurt, squeeze together for "just one more picture," and leave with a keepsake they'll pull out years from now.

That's why we do what we do.

Thank you again for trusting us with such an important milestone. We loved celebrating with you and wish Valerie all the best as she begins this exciting new chapter!
