Notice to Gould League and Bird Badge collectors.
After collecting Gould League badges for over 20 years to the point of writing a book on them I am delighted to advise a new discovery.
Gould League Victoria sterling silver Life Member Red Robin badge. Reverse inscription "M Pinches 1986". Mildren Pinches was born in 1902 which would have made her 84 when she was awarded the Life Membership presumably for veteran membership or for many years of honorary service.
Never seen or known of one. No other information is known about these Life Membership badges. Gould League Victoria have been advised of this discovery and are not aware of these badges ever being issued. They will do their own internal research and advise.
