I'm soo excited our 30 hens have finally started laying eggs! The kids are over the moon and excited to experiances that these babies have thicker shells, have a longer shelf life and taste amazing compared to store eggs.

However each hen eats 1.5lbs of food a week and the kids want to try their hand at selling chicken eggs to pay for the chicken feed. If anyone local to Portland or neat by wants eggs for eating or this season baking and wants to support my kids in their endeavors at July Justice then the girls would be happy to sell you some eggs.

Right now after research it is my understanding that a dozen of farm fresh eggs runs $5.00. they will also offer 2.5 dozen for $10.00
