Before Taaza Mithai became a name, it was a recipe in Nagaveni Amma’s hands and a dream shared by a family.
It began in Mysuru, where she lovingly prepared hot Mysore Pak and served it fresh from her little shop.
When Nagaveni Amma and Ajja moved to Bengaluru with their two sons and four daughters, they carried more than their belongings. They carried her treasured recipe, traditional skills and the hope of building a new life together.
Soon, Bengaluru fell in love with her rich, melt-in-the-mouth Mysore Pak. What began as one woman’s passion gradually became a family legacy and Taaza Mithai was born.
Her recipe was carefully passed on, one batch at a time. Even today, we continue to prepare and serve our Mysore Pak hot off the counter, just as she once did.
Because some recipes don’t simply make sweets.
They create memories, bring families together and become a legacy.
