To my wonderful clients, friends, and supporters,
I never imagined I would have to make a post like this again. Asking for help is something that has always been incredibly difficult for me, but today has been overwhelming in every possible way.
As many of you know, Bluey, my lab underwent emergency surgery today. As I was leaving to pick her up from the hospital, my senior dog, Odie, suddenly began passing a significant amount of blood in his urine. I immediately had to seek emergency veterinary care for him as well.
Because of this, Cole’s Dog Bathing & More will be temporarily closed for the next few days while I care for both of my dogs and work closely with their veterinary teams. I sincerely apologize to any clients who may be affected, and I appreciate your patience and understanding during this unexpected situation.
Emotionally and financially, I have reached a point where I simply can’t do this alone anymore. I’m still paying off Odie’s emergency surgery from March, and today’s emergencies have added even more unexpected expenses. I have always tried to handle everything on my own, but today I’m admitting that I need help.
If you are in a position to donate toward Bluey’s or Odie’s veterinary care, it would mean more than I can ever express. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps ease the burden and allows me to focus on getting them the care they need and quickly getting back to work.
For the sake of transparency, I am happy to provide veterinary invoices, receipts, estimates, or even my veterinarians’ contact information if anyone would like verification of their care.
Thank you to everyone who has supported my business over the years and to those who have reached out with kind words, prayers, or encouragement. Your support means the world to me and I truly would not have what I have without you guys especially during one of the hardest moments I’ve faced as a pet owner. I truly love each and every one of your pets as my own and appreciate you for always choosing me being so small over so many other businesses in the area. I will resume working as soon as I can especially now that it is just me alone in the shop. I’m doing everything I can to keep things running professionally and smoothly and am so appreciative for every prayer, message and thought. Thank you all.
