We had the pleasure of welcoming Nicola Gattulli from Vimar to our Bank of Lamps warehouse.

Vimar is an Italian manufacturer known for smart home systems, energy management, and high-quality wiring accessories. Bank of Lamps is proud to be the official distributor of Vimar products in Latvia.

During the visit, Sergej Tjurikov showed Nicola Gattulli around our warehouse, explained how our daily warehouse operations are organized and discussed our plans.

📦 Our 9,000 m² warehouse is filled with rows of stock ready for B2B orders. For selected products, however, we use a more compact storage solution: Kardex Remstar.

The process is simple. The operator enters the product’s EAN code, selects the relevant tray, and Kardex brings it directly to the access point. No searching shelf by shelf. No extra metres around the warehouse.

Most importantly, this helps our warehouse team pick and prepare orders faster for our B2B clients. The product is placed on the customer’s pallet and moved to the next stage of order preparation.

Kardex stores only a small part of our total warehouse stock, but it helps us use vertical space more efficiently and keeps selected products organised and easy to access.

The time Jaroslavs Naumovs spent at sea shaped the calm and practical approach he still brings to work every day. After deciding to find work closer to his family, he joined Bank of Lamps more than eight years ago. Today, he leads a team of more than 10 people as our Warehouse Supervisor.

His approach has stayed consistent:
▪️think before you act,
▪️stay calm when problems arise,
▪️and never trade accuracy for speed.

Outside work, family comes first. Most of his hobbies still bring him back to the water, whether he is diving, fishing or kayaking.

Recently, we welcomed Lukasz Strzelczyk from Gewiss to our new warehouse in Latvia.

Gewiss develops solutions for electrical installations, energy management and distribution, home and building automation, smart lighting, and e-mobility. Bank of Lamps is proud to be an official Gewiss distributor in Latvia.

On 19 July, Argentina and Spain meet in one of the most anticipated football matches of the year. We are looking forward to it too, so we gave our Riga warehouse a small match-day update.

While the teams prepare for kick-off, 12,000+ lighting and electrical items are already ready to ship from our 9,000 m² warehouse. More than €30M worth of stock is physically available, with new deliveries arriving every week.

We welcomed our partners from Legrand to our new warehouse.

Legrand is a global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructure, with solutions used in residential, commercial and industrial projects. Bank of Lamps is proud to be the official distributor of Legrand products in Latvia.

Together with Philippine Declercq and Ramunas Brazys from Legrand, we showed the new space, discussed current work and talked about ongoing cooperation.
