June babies are so lucky; they get peonies! I made a birthday bouquet for my daughter in honor of her special day. She sure misses her daddy while he is deployed, but she enjoyed having family over, the special decorations, & of course cake!

Bowl of beauty peonies! Did you know it takes most peony plants 3 years to bloom? Many of the roots are small when shipped and they like to get adjusted to their new spots. This peony has been with me for 6 years. It reminds me of a hot pink plate with a scoop of ice cream on it.

Life might be a bit chaotic right now but in the garden, it's coming up roses! This is my favorite spot in my garden. Whenever I pass Im greeted with a sweet apricot fragrance. This is the rose that made me fall in love with English garden roses. If I were Titania, queen of the fairies, I would make these branches my bower.

In order to meet the needs of my family at the moment, I will need to press pause on my normal Wednesday bouquet drops until the end of the school year. My husband is currently deployed and my girls need their momma.

I will still make drops as time allows and if you have a scheduled pick up-those are still happening! But for the next few weeks my family needs more flexibility & priority.

Summer flowers will still be available. I have loads of seedlings and tubers galore in the ground, but those won't bloom for a bit. Thank you all for your understanding and I hate to disappoint those looking forward to their weekly bouquet. This is just a pause; good things are growing.
