We’re opening our doors 💙 Join us for Book RePort’s Grand Opening weekend, May 15–17!
Our ribbon cutting ceremony kicks things off on Friday, May 15 at 12 PM, followed by a full weekend of books, events, and surprises.
From storytimes with beloved PWPL librarians Lesley Siegel and Rachel Fox, to a Sip + Shop with raffles, to the first meeting of our Book RePorters Youth Reading Group, we’ve planned a weekend to celebrate with the incredible community that brought us here.
This space was created because of you, and we can’t wait to open our doors and share it together.🤍

Independent Bookstore Day feels extra special this year 💙🤍💙

We’re just weeks away from opening our doors (May 15!), and we’re so grateful to be building something this community has been asking for, cheering on, and already showing up for in so many ways.

If you’re celebrating today, one of the most meaningful ways to support us during this final push is to order a book through the link in our bio or choose Book RePort as your shop on Bookshop.org (free shipping today!) and Libro.fm. Every order makes a difference.

We can’t wait to finally open our doors and share this space with you! Happy Independent Bookstore day💙📚🎉

📚 Introducing: Book RePorters!
We are soon opening our doors on Main Street! In anticipation of the big day, we’re starting something special at Book RePort.
Book RePorters is our new Youth Reading Council, a group of young readers who will help shape the shelves in our store.
One Sunday a month, Book RePorters will meet at the store to:
📖 get an advance reader copy of an upcoming book or new book we are considering stocking
💬 talk about what they’re reading
 🔄 swap recommendations
⭐ help us decide which books Book RePort should carry
We’ll have three groups:
📚 Middle Grade (Grades 3–6)
📚 Teens (Grades 7–9)
📚 Young Adult (Grades 10+)
If you know a reader who always has a book in their backpack, stays up too late reading, or loves telling everyone what they should read next… we’d love to meet them. Please note, this group is geared toward avid readers. For those of you interested in sparking an interest in reading in your child, we’ll have something for them, too. Stay tuned!
Participation is free, and spots will be limited to keep the group small and engaging.

Steve will be joined in conversation by Arnie Herz, a member of the American Jewish Committee Board of Governors. We can’t wait to gather and discuss his latest historical thriller!
