Gem Junkeez Don't judge a book by its cover? Exactly! My grandfather, Jim Goins, was an avid junk collector. My perception of him was a kind, gentle spirit.

As he searched for GEMS, I believe he was also searching for himself on his journey in life. He gave what he could, which many times wasn't much - but none the less he gave when others were in need. Some viewed him as a sort of junkyard dog - but to me - he was my grandpa who was fun & loving. It was always an adventure at his home. So- I find myself now on a journey with Jim in mind.
