The first time you put out your moth traps, you might be surprised how some of them catch loads of moths and others stay empty - the reason is to do with where they are placed in your home - so follow these steps to make sure you don’t leave any clothes unprotected...

tips for positioning your traps:
1. One trap per shelf or hanging section of your wardrobe, and some out around your bedroom (1–1.8m from the floor ideally)
2. Cover every space that stores clothes, usually around one box per wardrobe
3. Not too close to natural repellents
4. Replace them when full or every 3 months, all year round
5. Moths follow natural flight paths and pheromones are carried on airflows so try to place near those - if a trap stays empty for more than 5 days, move it until you find the best positions.
