We recently received this wonderful letter from Team Stranglehold who joined us this year as both first-time participants and sponsor Stranglehold Lures of the 28th Annual Cheboygan Salmon Tournament

There is a lot of time, planning, hard work and many volunteers that go into making tournament weekend happen, so receiving a letter like this truly means more than they probably realize. ❤️

Team Stranglehold (Rich Corbin, Hunter Corbin, Todd Dodde) finished 16th out of 71 boats using only Stranglehold Super Glow Lures. Fish were caught Eclipse Magnum and standard, standard Bloody Kong, standard Blue Hydra, and standard Blue moon. This was our first time fishing the straits area. Kudos to all the organizers, volunteers, and sponsors. This was an amazing experience!

Congratulations to the participants of the 28th annual Cheboygan Trail Blazers Salmon Tournament. The weather going into it looked a little concerning, but the rain ended before most were on the lake and the wind stayed faily calm until the last hour.

We were able to spend some time with the fine fishermen in Cheboygan who are planning to hit lake in the morning for the Cheboygan Trail Blazers Salmon Tournament. We raffled off a basket of Stranglehold apparel and a few lures. Les was the lucky winner. We wish all the fishermen out there (all 71 boats) a day of fun and success!

Thanks, Brady, for this report out of Fairport. He caught several nice fish on our Blue Flounder and a nice one (2nd pic) and a few others on our Kraken Spitfire on 300 copper. Thanks again , Brady for sending these pics and supporting Stranglehold Super Glow Lures.

Nate Lay from Powderhorn Sportfishing Charters ran our Sunspot UV for the first time on 7/23/26 and it did not disappoint. Took 4 fish on a high diver. His words "Insane"
