🇺🇸 THROWBACK — 7 YEARS AGO 🇺🇸
This photo takes me back.
About 7 years ago, Eddie and I were heading down to Florida for a full week of fi****ms training and certification. This wasn’t a vacation—it was long days, early mornings, and putting in the work to sharpen skills that matter.
What you don’t see in this photo…
There were 7 fi****ms packed in that loadout—and over 12,000 rounds of ammo just for me alone.
To put that into perspective, many folks don’t shoot 1,000 rounds in an entire year…
We went through over 10,000 rounds in a single week.
And this trip wasn’t cheap either—between travel, lodging, ammo, and training, we each had a few thousand dollars invested just to be there.
That wasn’t about burning ammo or spending money—it was about repetition, consistency, and building real proficiency.
Because real training isn’t a couple of mags at the range.
It’s doing it over and over until it becomes second nature.
It’s learning under pressure, correcting mistakes, and safely and responsibly pushing your limits.
This trip was one of those moments that helped shape how I train, teach, and approach everything today.
đź’Ş Stay trained. Stay ready. Stay responsible.
