I made a choice several years ago that I needed to start learning about healthier living to protect my family from harmful chemicals and contribute to a greener environment. . Asthma and Allergies were a constant and I saw a lot of different types of prescribed medications run through our home. Like many, I had different health issues through life and I have lived with chronic pain for many years and it isn't fun nor is it healthy to pump medications into your body. And then digging deeper into healthier living, I started looking further into the ingredients of different cleaning products in our home. This was an eye opener for me. Our skin is our biggest living organ. The biggest solid internal organs are your liver, brain, lungs, heart and kidneys. So to think that skin absorption is the main route by which substances can enter the body, we are a sponge to everything around us and all the agents we use within our household. Further, what we put into our system is what we get out, so this also meant learning new alternatives to medicine that were healthier for my family. This is where my journey started... I new that making a difference to healthier living started with me - living greener would allow lesser risk of exposing my boys to harmful toxins and chemicals that could add to and pose various health risks. I truly believe that a healthy lifestyle should be accessible and affordable for everyone. As a single mom for a lot of years, I looked for companies that were affordable with products that were healthy for our household. Now, I love to share these products and help others.
