Console Service Centre in Boksburg is looking for a young person who wants to learn a real, skilled trade — console repair — from the ground up.
You don't need any repair or electronics experience. If you're good with your hands, patient, and genuinely keen to learn how consoles work and how to fix them, we'll teach you everything. What matters to us is attitude, not a CV.
This is for someone who wants this as a career, not a stop-gap — someone reliable we can train up and grow with over the long term.
This is you if:
• You're young and starting out — you've finished school (or are finishing this year) and you're not going on to study further; you want to work and learn a trade
• You're fluent in English and Afrikaans — you speak both comfortably and read both. Clear, correct English (speaking and writing) is essential, as you'll be dealing with customers directly; you don't need to write in Afrikaans
• You're reliable, honest and punctual — this matters to us more than anything else
• You're good with your hands and into technology, gadgets or gaming
• You live in or near Boksburg / the East Rand and have a reliable way to get to Witfield (own transport a plus)
• You can work our full week, including Saturdays (Mon–Thu 8am–4pm, Fri–Sat 8am–1pm)
What you'll do: start with the basics — testing consoles, cleaning, diagnostics and simple repairs — and build up to proper board-level work over time, trained hands-on by our senior technician.
The offer: permanent position after a 3-month training period, with a starting salary that increases once you've shown us what you can do, and real room to grow.
