The Central University of Technology radio station manager, Laila Nnyane, has publicly apologised for her insensitive comments made during a recent interview on "Spreading Humours" that aired on 16 March 2025.

In a statement, Nnyane states,"I was asked about the youngest person I ever dated and my response was insensitive. I mentioned Angela Linda by name, which was completely inappropriate, and now she's been subjected to an overwhelming amount of negative attention."

Nnyane further states, "I sincerely apologise and request the nation to forgive me as I've learned from the hard lesson and request an opportunity to still be a better person."

This comes after CUT issued a statement distancing themselves from Nnyane's remarks.

HELP POLICE FIND MISSING PESA PHEKO

Pesa Pheko has been missing aince 10 July 2024

In the early hours of 10 July 2024, the 37-year-old Pesa Pheko was last seen by his family leaving their house at L-Section to board public transport to Bloemfontein for his hospital appointment and he has since not returned home.

Police, family and colleagues tried to contact him, but to no avail.

He was wearing a long green bomber jacket, a black pair of jeans, black sneakers and a grey beanie on his head.

The silence around his disappearance has been too loud. An icon cannot just disappear like that without a trace.

Help find him, contact Captain Sego of the Provincial Organised Crime Unit at 0781849105 or Office 0515076622.
