I can't wait to find out who the lucky winner will be in SANESA Eden's raffle draw tomorrow evening, August 8th! 🐴

One very fortunate person will be taking home this beautiful Dappled Dun Hobby Horse from Cindy's Hobby Horses, and I am so excited to welcome them to the CHH family!

For the past few weeks, I've been quietly working on something I've never created before. Every stripe has been carefully drawn by hand, every detail thoughtfully brought to life, and we're finally getting close to sharing it with you.

And just like that... our colourful group of July 2026 horses have all left the workshop and are safely settled into their new homes all over South Africa. ❤️🐴

Every month, it's a little bittersweet watching them leave. We spend so many hours bringing each one to life – from the very first cut of fabric to the final photo and the last quality check. By the time they're packed into their boxes, they've become part of our little workshop family.

To everyone who welcomed one of our July horses into their home, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for supporting our small mother-and-daughter business, for trusting us to create something so special, and for allowing our handmade horses to become part of your stories and adventures. It truly means more to us than words can say.

As we move into the busy second half of the year, we'd like to remind everyone who has been dreaming of a Cindy's Hobby Horse to get your orders in soon. Our order book is filling up, and we'll already be starting on our Christmas orders in October.

Can you believe we're already halfway through July?! 🫣

It's about time we gave our beautiful June 2026 Cindy's Hobby Horses the introduction they deserved... even if it's a little late! 😅

Our June herd has already galloped off to their wonderful new homes all across South Africa, where they're being loved by their very excited new owners. Every single horse is handmade with love, and we're so grateful to everyone who welcomed one into their family. ❤️🐴

And our workshop hasn't slowed down! We're already halfway through our July 2026 custom orders, with the first group safely on their way to bring huge smiles to their new riders. We can’t wait to see your photos and hearing your stories! 🐴☺️

Good news! We still have a few August custom order spaces available. And yes... we're already taking Christmas orders🎄! If a Cindy's Hobby Horse is on someone's Christmas wish list, now is the perfect time to book before our order book fills up.

✨ Behind the scenes at Cindy’s Hobby Horses ✨
This is where the magic happens… Our little studio has been buzzing with creativity lately, and we thought we’d give you a sneak peek into the spaces where each hobby horse is carefully brought to life.
From cutting and stitching to filling and detailing - every step happens right here, with lots of love (and a bit of mess in between 😉).
We’re also excited to share that the first group of April horses is officially ready for airbrushing/shading. This is where their personalities really start to shine, and we can’t wait to see each one come to life.
And then… something extra special 👀
I've finally started working on a hobby horse idea that’s been in the back of my mind for a long time - and it’s turning into something truly unique. A special edition release that will soon be available for sale… Trust me, you’re going to want to see this one.
