Pokémon Pre-Orders Update
Hello!
Over the past few months, Pokémon has seen a surge in popularity. Demand has been unprecedented, with availability of new sets being very limited. This high demand has resulted in stock allocations for recent sets, meaning we receive only a portion of what we order. With each set, our allocation has decreased further.
One of our strategies for gauging product demand and offering good discounts is by running pre-orders. However, the current stock situation is making this increasingly difficult. Even with very conservative pre-order numbers, we’re still ending up overselling certain items. It’s a poor customer experience to have to partially cancel orders, and we want to avoid that.
Going forward, we will not be taking Pokémon pre-orders (for the time being).
For the latest set, Destined Rivals, some customers will have their orders reduced. We will reach out to each affected customer individually.
For the next set, Black Bolt and White Flare, we have removed these items from our store and will be contacting customers proactively.
