Dietmann upright ready to hit the market. The hammerbutt bushings was a bit tight and needed some easing. Now she plays beautifully, especially after the regulation was improved. The dampers were engaging much too soon causing the action to feel extra heavy.

Matching an old woodfinish is always tough. The old finish have been exposed and bleached by the sun causing the colour to fade. Once the old finish is removed, one can see the stain colour used originally and this needs to e carefully sanded down to get to raw veneer so we can try match the current exposed colour. The colour we are using will be so much different to the original stain used on this piano. We are matching a finish that has already bleached with time.

Another piano tubed for free today. This piano was delivered 2months back and today was its first tuning in the new home. Approx 6cents flat after the move. The bass was on point though.

Today I tuned this Rudibach and Sohn upright piano. What a solid instrument this is. Even after the move to its new home it had hardly lost its tuning. Very stable indeed. It was 2 cents sharp in the temperament octave. What an absolute pleasure to tune.
