Venus has clearly worked out that the spot directly in front of the fire, head resting on her favourite cushion, is the best real estate in the entire house. She's not wrong.

Even with spring properly underway, a few cool evenings are still sneaking through and Venus is making the absolute most of the last of the fire nights.

There's something about watching a dog fully surrender to comfort like this that makes the whole evening feel a little slower and a little better. No walks to plan, no weather to check, just the fire going and a cushion perfectly positioned.

Tell us in the comments, is your dog a fireplace dog or a duvet dog and does a favourite cushion always come along for the ride?

Buddy looking rather pleased with himself in his Azure Majesty collar and lead.

There's something about a dog sitting in the sun on a good patch of grass that just feels like the whole point of having a garden.

Tag someone whose dog strikes a pose just as well as Buddy does.

Spring has a way of turning every dog owner's routine upside down.

Suddenly there's fur everywhere, muddy paw prints have become a permanent floor feature and the walks have gotten longer now that the evenings are lighter.

If any of this sounds familiar, you already know exactly what season it is.

Tag someone who's found dog hair somewhere it had absolutely no business being.

A bit of colour, a lot of dogs and plenty of love and personality 🐾😂

Because really, what would life be without dogs making us laugh, taking over the furniture and generally running the show?

And if they’re going to run the show, they may as well do it in a gorgeous, colourful collar & leash set. ❤️🐾

Raven's idea of a big night in.

That toy hasn't stood a chance since it arrived and honestly neither have we, one look from those eyes and it's impossible to be annoyed about anything chewed or dragged around the house.

Some dogs need a whole pack to keep them entertained. Others just need one very loyal stuffed friend and a soft blanket.

Tell us what your dog's go-to comfort object is.

There's nothing quite like getting out into the hills for a proper winter walk, especially with company that's just as happy to explore as you are.

Some mornings are made for detours like this one.

It's that time of year where every dog has strong opinions about the cold.
