An organization can only deem itself as being in the right path to success if it listens to its supporters. At CPT Women’s Network, we recognize that feedback is the breakfast of champions. We have chosen to be champions by listening to the feedback from our supporters to have an all-inclusive event.
While we remain rooted to the ethos of uplifting female empowerment, we also recognize that opportunities should be created equally for all.
It is for this reason that we have extended our invitation from bring a girl child to bring a child to Allan Gray day. Meaning Bring a GIRL Child and a BOY CHILD. We have noted that active parenting in 2019 has become broader than just from biological parents to the point where in our communities even mentoring from male and female adults has taken the form of parenting for others. Remaining gender neutral allows us to afford equal opportunities to both boy and girl children, accompanied by either male or female figures on the day. To allow our extended invitation to take form and build momentum, we have decided to move the date and we will soon confirm it.

Our theme and aim of the event remains the same just an extension to invite everyone across all platforms to partake.

Imagine a world where children are safe and free. Wait, even better, imagine a world where girl children can be free and dream beyond their limits. Every girl child deserves an opportunity to dream big. Dreams that can be encouraged to go beyond the threshold. CPT Women’s Network together with Allan Gray will be creating a safe space for these dreams of life, health and well-being to be ignited at the first ever ‘ Woman, bring a girl child to Allan Gray ‘ day on Saturday, 23 November 2019.

Bring these young leaders, goddesses and powerhouses of tomorrow to an event where the only prerequisite is to be a child that’ll stop at nothing to make their dreams comes true. Creativity will overflow. Conversations of realising that their success is in their hands will be facilitated.

Let the spark of safe and unimaginable futures be ignited.

This exciting presentation aims to convey a message of the different aspects in character that women of this fast paced, era are about. Characters of strength, power in male dominated industries and how this power is used to make a difference to others will be highlighted. We envision to bring a message of hope and how challenging it is to be the change that we want to be as reckoned forces in society.
