"Are you kidding me? I could smell your lavender perfume scent from 5km away, plus you were breathing heavily and warmly into my neck, so how would I not know it was you huh?"
"Wow,Sherlock Holmes...nice detective playing."he teased
"Anyone would guess that Scott."Jenna smiled softly "So? What period is it in your timetable?"
"It's, Maths."he rolled his eyes
"Really? That's dope....I love maths..."
Jenna stated in excitement
"Speak for yourself, what's fun in x and y's?"Scott said, and his eyes tinted with a spark"Wait, what's the period in your timetable?"
"It's Life science...."
"Good, I could work with Lifescience. Can you please switch places with me just for today?"
"Scott, no ways...I won't help you bunk your class."Jenna said in a serious manner
"Come on Jenna, it's just this once and I won't ask again, please....my mentor doesn't even notice that I'm in his class, please."
"Fine."she sighed heavily"I'll do it,"
"Yes!!!"he yelled in excitement and kissed her on the cheek,"You're the best female bestie ever"
"But you owe me an ice-cream scoop after school and a slumber party at your mansion got that?"Jenna gave a cute face
"You got it."
Jenna gave a short smile to Scott before turning her back and walking to his class.
When she entered, not even the kids noticed her...but that's just how it is at SummerCove High. NOBODY CARES.
She walked to the backseat in the last row, and sat next to a dark skinned boy...with a friendly face, his dark silky hair and ocean eyes giving Kanye West vibes.
She put her bag between them, so she could avoid uncomfortable situations like the open space between them. She's really found it hard to socialise herself with other people after what happened 2 years ago.
Everyone might have put it behind them and forgotten about it, but it still hurts to her.
There was silence between the boy and Jenna, but it wasn't awkward, just normal silence between the two of them.
The class mentor walked in and immediately walked to the chalk board and began with his lesson.
Jenna raised her hand to every question and answered all of them accurately.
And to every question she answered, the mentor smiled softly.
After school, Jenna walked out of the school in her usual friendly presence, alongside her friends....Scott,Katy and Regina.
"See? I told you nothing bad would come out of this...."Scott stated
"I can't believe your mentor doesn't even recognise his own students, but you were right though....I actually enjoyed myself in that class, plus...I met this one boy, and he is really friendly."Jenna said with a blush on her face
"You got feelings for the boy,Jenna?"Regina teased her
"Urgh, me? Have feelings for a guy? Oh, please.I was just telling you how excellent my day went because of the maths."
Then a black car parked infront of them,and a familiar figure got out
"Keni!"
