The salas days are approaching was and furious
There are No BETTER way to store lettuce fresher for longer. Remember it is always cheaper to buy a full lettuce then the washed and packed lettuce leaves. Those lettuce, ones you open it it turns bad and soggy within two days! Buying a full lettuce, storing it in your CRISP IT will last the full month!
🍀How to prepare your lettuce
Break out the core of the lettuce with your hand NOT with a knife because a knife has a chemical reaction and turns your lettuce brown
Pour a teaspoon of salt into the opening.
Now rince it thoroughly under the tap with water.
Turn around and shake out the excess of water.
Rest the lettuce on the spike and put into the bowl.
🍀 What is happening inside the bowl
As you put the lettuce back in the bowl the extra water that are still in the lettuce will drain to the bottom of the bowl under the spike 😍 then the magic start happening
Once you put the seal on, the inside of the crisp becomes like a incubator. The moisture under the spike will start sirculating in your bowl. The top part of the seal will pop up to look like a pregnant lady.
That is how your lettuce can stay fresh for more then 3 weeks!
