*Today our Dinokeng family lost one of the truly good ones.*

Dave Ritchie passed away peacefully in his sleep yesterday morning.

To so many, he was the face behind Rusty Rhino — a place he built from the ground up with his own hands, his vision, and his love for this bush.

To us, he was a proud Scotsman with a heart bigger than the African bush he called home.
The man who believed in people and in making Dinokeng better.
Loyal. Generous. Full of laughter.
He leaves behind a legacy at Rusty Rhino that will shine on for years to come.

Karen, Lauren, Stacy and family — our hearts are with you.

The bush will never be the same without you, Dave.
Rest peacefully, our dear friend.
