One of my all time Favourite Disney live action films from my childhood

An absolute epic.

On June 9, 1978 “The Cat from Outer Space” was released in theaters! Directed by Norman Tokar (Where the Red Fern Grows, The Apple Dumpling Gang) and starring Ken Berry, Sandy Duncan, Harry Morgan, Ronnie Schell, Roddy McDowall, Sorrell Booke, and McLean Stevenson. The plot follows an alien cat named Jake, who crash-lands on Earth and, with the help of a physicist (Berry) and his friends, tries to repair his spaceship before the U.S. military and a villainous businessman can capture him and his advanced technology. Produced by Walt Disney Productions, it was shot at the studio's Golden Oak Ranch and in Santa Clarita, California. It paired Harry Morgan with McLean Stevenson whom Morgan had replaced on M*A*S*H three years prior. The film was written by Ted Key, creator of the cartoon panel Hazel and the Peabody's Improbable History animated segments that appeared on The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends. Lalo Schifrin (The Amityville Horror) composed the score.

The first Bond I ever saw and my all time favourite.

On June 6, 1983 - Oc*****sy premiered at the Odeon Leicester Square in UK then hit screens in the U.S. on June 10, 1983.

A fake Fabergé egg recovered from the body of a fellow agent leads James Bond to uncover a jewel smuggling operation led by the mysterious Oc*****sy, and a plot to blow up a NATO air base.

I can't believe the sad news that Anthony Head has passed away.

I worked opposite him in one scene on The Dominion series. I had just one silly little line role. Despite that some how my trailer was next to his and while I was sitting on the stairs of my trailer he greeted me and I sparked up a conversation with him after I told him I was a big Little Britain fan. He said he loved playing Mr Prime Minister.
Next thing I know he invited me to sit with him for lunch on set and we talked throughout the day. Talking about topics of what he referred to as his heyday on Buffy the Vampire to being so proud of his children and how he coped with being away for long periods of time from his wife & family while on productions.

An absolute gentleman & true thespian.
A Professional and empathetic man.

I am blessed to have met him.
I like millions of fans will miss him.
My sincere condolences to his girls.

Who remembers BUBBLE YUM.
My favourites were Grape And the pink one which I think was either Strawberry or Cherry

I don’t think I have ever seen “Popeye” gum,or the drink flavor gums.
