Gauteng MEC for Human Settlements, Ms Tasneem Motara, handed over 73 houses to qualifying beneficiaries at the Westonaria Borwa Mega Project in Rand West City Local Municipality.

The handover brings the total number of houses allocated at the project this month to 177.

For beneficiaries, a completed house means more than a structure — it is a place to call home, build a future and restore dignity.

How To Qualify To Own RDP/LAND .
NB: Not at Droogeheuwel Randfontein Mega City specific but wherever you stay and there's RDP around you

Application Process

Requirements for RDP Housing:
- Valid ID document
- Proof of address
- Child's birth certificate (if applicable)
- Applicants must earn LESS than R3,501 per month or be UNEMPLOYED
- You must be 18 years or older

Requirements for Stands:
-Valid ID Document
-proof Of Address
-Child's birth certificate (if Applicable)
- Payslip as proof of income
- Applicants must earn MORE than R3,501 per month and provide a payslip as proof of income
-you must be 21 years or older

Application Process:
APPLY at your nearest Housing department, please submit the required documents as specified above. Housing team will review your application and assess your eligibility based on the criteria outlined.
